Home for domestic animals in need on the beautiful island of St. John.
Welcome to Carolina Corral
Please note new phone number 340-227-9622.
In an effort to make all the animals at the corral available for the public to interact with as well as provide the care they need I am no longer offering horseback rides. This decision is also accompanied by the changed environment of this island and her visitors. It is very difficult to find help and only so many hours in the day. With the lack of housing there is a shortage of folks willing to do this kind of labour. Therefore the standards have to be more relaxed and fit into a more doable time frame.
My hope is to use the horses within the community for education and therapy and the donkeys for fun! More on that as I get things better sorted out and necessary repairs made to the corral. Meanwhile, feel free to visit the is Mon – Fri between 10 and 5pm. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call ahead 340-227-9622.
Thanks to animal lovers like myself who over the years have been a great support to the animals of St. John.

This is a labor of love on a very small island where resources are few and costly. The animals will benefit from your patronage and support. All of the horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, cats, dogs, and hog are either rescues or were no longer wanted by their previous owners. We do our best to provide for them a good home giving them the care they deserve.

With all that has happened and the progress made toward restoration after the hurricanes and now this pandemic, most people agree this is still a beautiful place to visit and live.
